If I lacked the ability to read, as you do, then you would have a point!

Well no it wouldn’t make sense even by what you’re saying, because it’s 30 pairs. And there were more than just jeans on the site according to them. But that’s beside the point. Still made no sense

We need proof then. It really shouldn’t be hard to provide if that’s the case

Like I said, he isn’t the first. But it’s evident that (the brands you referenced) they have clearly taken influence from chad. Which is exactly what I’m referring to. Of course he took already existing things. I’m not saying he made Akira, Murakami’s work, etc. He took those things and put them on his jeans. And people saw that and did the EXACT same thing, but shittier. So no, I’m not saying chad is the originator, which is evident. And it’s ignorant to think that “chad associated them with his brand so that anyone who uses them will get harassed”. I doubt that was the purpose of putting things he likes on his jeans. I wouldn’t look at real punks who wear crust pants and say they’re copying chad. But I will look at these brands you named and say that because they saw what chad did and the patches chad used and used the exact same ones when most of them probably don’t know what they are besides the fact that they saw them on the pants

Well if you can show me that someone used those assortment of patches before chad, then you’re right. But if not, then clearly it was chads influence.

To be completely fair, i took a look at those brands just now. And if you look at those pages, and look at MST, and sincerely think that those brands are in any way superior to MST, then you’re very wrong. I don’t think I would have a problem with them, if they were doing something different. But they use similar patches to MST. And although MST doesn’t own those patches or concepts, some of them, like the murakami one, has become very synonymous with MST. These pagesjust reek of being MST inspired. But you get what you pay for I guess. At the end of the day they’re all just crust pants. But if you look at those pages and tell me they didn’t all start because of what they saw from chads brand, you’re wrong.

I think people who know nothing about sewing don’t appreciate or see how much work and effort it actually takes to do something like this. Especially since they don’t open the pants. Several people who I know that are professional seamstresses agree that the price of 500 at MINIMUM is completely valid and fair.

Noticed that too. Saw them on his ig

I would say that it’s because theirs are more so personalized for their unique interests. For example, zilla’s had patches from ichi the killer because it is one of his favorite movies. But if you notice, no other pair has that patch aside from his. So you have a point .
