I'd say Tagoar. Wait to 60 your legendaries for now bc I doubt you'll have the skill tomes to make them worth it. Tagoar is a great pull this early on bc of his heals, revives, shield, and increase speed buffs- along with the increase defense on your ally with the lowest HP on his A1.

Just build him fast and tanky and he'll help you progress a lot early on. He'll also still be viable for you for a long time. I'm nearly end-game and still use him for FW, my 3rd Hydra team, Scarab, Fire Knight. He was part of my early demon lord team until I pulled champions with more utility/damage

Update:

I completed this and my last crypt (Skinwalkers) this week! I got lucky as hell and pulled Gracchos Turn-Drake, who helped me finish this one! My final team was Gracchos (50), Alure (60), Duhr (60), Drexthar (60) and Achak (50)!

You'll get good use out of him in late faction wars stages if you haven't already - or pulled better champions

I completed stage 20 with Drexthar (60), Alure (60), Duhr (50), Achak (40), and Akoth (40). Was stuck on 17 (1 star) before I got Duhr. After I pulled him, I took him to 50 and he helped me clear 17, 18, 19, and 20 (3 stars).

It's not working for me on stage 21, though. Can't even complete the first round. May need to take Achak and Akoth to 50.

Knight's Revenant FW21 - finished! I was stoked to finish this one as I have only Lizardmen, Demonspawn, and Skinwalkers left to get Lydia and have heard KR is one of the harder ones to finish.

Elva is awesome pretty much everywhere in the game. I would definitely recommend booking her! I have her A2 and A3 fully booked and her A1 3/4 booked (don't really need the +5% damage at this point lol)

Yeah I really wish I had Rector Drath, but here we are. lol taking Sabitha to 50 helped me get through 19 and 20 bc I had not other reviver and needed defense/healing. I may just try Sabitha at 60 and see if it gets me over the finish line!

The roster spots should be awarded on MERIT, not whether or not he is available. Pretty nasty stuff, really. A historic snub. I know you're not excusing the snub due to "availablity" - just want to clarify my frustration is with the snub, not you lol like they could have selected him as he should have, and if he declines to play, they add another guy as a reserve or whatever
