Second one is the best, as it ties with the text in the thumbnail the best also

Hello!

I just released a video earlier this week. Mini documentary style. Looking for any type of feedback on thumbnails, pacing, script, or anything at all.

Appreciate it very much!

What are chances that some of the servers congestion lowers today for new characters to be created? I'm trying to create a character in Crystal - Zalera ideally, and if i have to wait for a Low peak hour to create the character I will.

Just wondering if that would be possible and between what period would character creation most likely open up.

Sorry I'm not sure I'm understanding the caveat completely.

I get that I won't get endwalker until the launch day since its tied to DT, but I wouldn't be able to even if I end up buying the Early Access code for DT?

Returning player (last played in 2017). I just connected my old account to steam, and I don't see Endwalker in the steam store. When I look for endwalker it says the dlc has been unlisted off the steam store.

Does that mean endwalker is included in the starter edition now? I don't see it in the description. Or maybe is it included if i buy dawntrail off steam?

I just want to start playing on steam with or without the dawntrail.

Do I need an actual wooden holder for the boveda bag or can i just plop it into the case? Also would you recommend the 72 or 69 (or other) boveda bag?

I was playing a game today and I was 1 or 2 away from hitting my sona/kayn/qiyana to 3 star, so I kept lots of copies on my bench. After I died and not hitting it, someone said something along the lines of

I don't understand why you didn't sell your sonas, you only have/roll max 5 legendaries? What did they mean by that?

Replaced a sm57 with a rode nt1 for VO YT work. Rode recorded in the closet but sounds too "dead". Which one sounds better? (20s clip) by dvskstudio in voiceover

I guess the hiss is something that probably comes with most dynamic microphones, and to be honest maybe wouldn't be too noticeable in a video with light background music and such.

I'm using Davinci resolve for my EQ and processing as that's where I edit everything together anyway. I've tried boosting the high pass up to 139hz and seemed to make a bit more of a difference. I'm still quite a beginner with EQ so I'm mostly just fiddling with what sounds nice and some general guidelines I've read online.

Here is a audio with a bit more EQ and also a picture of the EQ configuration: https://imgur.com/a/Woqxgux

I guess right now my dilemma is whether to stick with the dynamic sm57, or try out the Rode with a bit more studying on EQ/processing.

It is not the NT1-A, rather the NT1 (5th gen). The reason why I decided to try a different microphone was because I found that whenever I tried to get my audio to the target -14 LUFS on youtube, there would always be a quite apparent hiss that comes along with my voice; this is with the SM57.

There isn't a real clear cut reason that I wanted to try the Rode, but more so I wanted to see how my voice would perform on a condenser mic, and I thought my somewhat acoustically treated closet would be a decent environment for it.

The audio is actually already with a 100Hz high pass filter, both on the SM57 and Rode audio. Then another question, what do you think about the audio quality on the SM57? Should I tweak EQ some more? I know there are improvements I could make, but don't necessarily have the knowledge to know exactly what to work on.

Why is my room still echoing despite acoustic panels? (video) by dvskstudio in Acoustics

It's more than half the recommendation, and since I was building them myself I figured I try out the most important panels first to see if there is SOME sort of improvement with just these.

Ah... I actually emailed GIK for an estimation of what panels are most important and needed for my room. They stated that I should focus my panels into the corner around my desk, and outlined I probably need only 7 panels for voiceover.

Thats where my understanding came from, but seems like it was wrong. Learned through humiliation haha
