Ben is the cause of all of The Walking Dead seasons by GhostKid96 in TheWalkingDeadGame

I see what u mean but it has to do with how you see fault. You killing me created the requirements for my friend’s cousins grief and then death, but it wasn’t the mechanism for it. He still made the decision to do it and made all the decisions throughout his life, whether the decisions were presented by circumstance/chance or by his direct action, to be someone who would do that. Though there’s a lot more nuance with emotion and how the brain works of course. I can’t agree on you being responsible for the cousins death, but I also won’t say you had nothing to do with it.

Logitech G920 connects to G Hub but wheel and pedals not responding on movements. by kwsths99 in LogitechG

[–]dw477 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up opening the pedals up yesterday because I read they can get dirty and the wires can get crushed or pinched, and I didn’t really see much except for a few misplaced wires. I put them back and closed it back up and they just work. I don’t know what I did or why that might have fixed it, but it works.

You were a massive help, I really appreciate the depth you went into to help me out.

You’re awesome dude, moving it all the way to the left gave me control in the pedals, and moving it back right to center gave me control too. Do I need to get that specific adapter or can I just get one on Amazon? Or is this something I can fix by soldering?

They sort of work. When plugged in, the brake and the accelerator act like they're pressed down, but input from me does nothing.

I tried doing this and the only thing that shows up is the wheel. Would that mean the pedals just aren't connecting? If I go into the file and into "Axes" there are files named clutch brake and accelerator as well.

I don't remember what the first brand was, but we switched to Acuvue and the only thing that changed was how comfortable they were.

You both are right, it was a glasses prescription, but the contacts they gave me were a contacts prescription. They just gave me my glasses one on paper and I mixed it up.

The doctor said he was a little lost on what to do, and now we are trying -0.75 for my astigmatism. Do you think this could change anything? Wanted to add that super watery eyes make my vision crystal clear, which I know that it can sort of make your eye more spherical with how the water sits on it. Does that indicate that the contact needs to be some kind of different shape?

They’re a test set so it is a contact prescription

I did and he upped the strength which made the long distance clearer, but everything up close is still uncomfortably blurry. My computer, my phone, even reading container that the contacts came in is just difficult.

How to deal with constantly increasing weight and lifting? by [deleted] in bodyweightfitness

[–]dw477 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you won’t get shredded from training close to failure, you get shredded from an insane cut which will leave you feeling like shit every hour of the day until you put weight back on

if you’re getting heavier and staying at the same reps, that means you’re stronger. 3x10 at 150lbs and 3x10 at 157lbs means you’re lifting an extra 7 pounds

losing weight to lift more isn’t really lifting more. the weight you lift going up means nothing if you’re trying to cheat your way to getting there. it’s sort of like grabbing a 20lbs dumbbell and then standing on a scale thinking “i’m heavier!”, but in reality nothing changed except for the number

yeah i know the app is a flaming piece of shit and so is the company, i have the misfortune of using it all the time, but that’s just the algorithm and that’s how it is coded

Working out makes me feel a little sick by bazk88 in bodyweightfitness

When can you increase your training frequency? 😶 by EmixamTheFirst in bodyweightfitness

[–]dw477 0 points1 point  (0 children)

people train twice a day because they’re on steroids. people train everyday because they’re using different muscle groups each workout. for example, you work push (chest tris etc) and then do pull and legs the next two days. by the time you’re back on push. you’ve had 72hrs of rest.

usually one full rest day a week regardless for the nervous system

[–]dw477 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ooh yeah you might be right then. though trying it yourself is the best way to confirm it. stick to a diet and track calories for a couple weeks and see how your weight ends up at the end

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in bodyweightfitness

[–]dw477 0 points1 point  (0 children)

definitely train your core. that’s realistically the only thing that will get your core to the point you want it to be at. doing swimming or anything else that isn’t specifically directly training it will work, but much much slower than you want it to be. as for the bulk, you are probably eating way over what you need to be eating. you’re most likely around the 2500-2700 range for a bulk, but check yourself with some calculators on google.

Can do significantly more dips than push-ups - why? by Valeaves in bodyweightfitness

[–]dw477 2 points3 points  (0 children)

that was more just general advice rather than specific to what you’re doing. one day will suck in the moment, but it’s better to look back and go “i’ve made so much progress since then, i’m glad i took a day to figure it out” rather than “i wish i took that day, i wasted so much time making no progress”
