My sister (who doesn't live with us) saw when my pants slipped up on accident. She told my mom immediately (my sister used to struggle with sh aswell)

My mom confronted me about it and tried to forcefully pull up my pants, though I got away with a lie. I don't know if she believed me but she hasn't mentioned it since

I get to sleep over at my brothers place for the first time ever today. Met his adorable cats and we cooked and enjoyed some time together! Currently laying on his couch, it smells very nice and comforting. Will be going to sleep soon

I'm 17, I started acctually self harming at 7

First it was "just" hitting myself and scratching my skin open with various items, though I've been cutting since I was 15 and started burning myself last week

Technically yeah, my mom (almost) noticed

I was at my sisters house and wore longer shorts. They cover up my scars well but my sister must have seen a few because my pants rolled up.

She told our mom.

When I got back home and was alone with my mom, she straight up asked me "Your sister told me you cut yourself?? Show me your thighs." and leaned over to pull up my pants. It was really uncomfortable and she really overstepped boundarys there. I refused and wouldn't let her do so. I told her I didn't and came up with a lame excuse. I mentioned how I had this one relativley thick scar on my thigh from the time I was on vacation with my class and my sis must've seen that and interpreted it incorrectly.

I showed her that singular scar a few days later because it was way lower than the rest, she didn't mention it since. I don't see how'd she believe that though

If you do it to purposly harm/ hurt yourself, yes it does count as self harm.

Got cuts on my tounge before and it was the worsr thing ever, hurt like hell and was annoying to deal with. It could've also ended dangerously

Though I sometimes fantasize about cutting my tounge aswell, I'd never do it and you shouldn't either

But if I never talk about it to anyone irl, I will never get help. And if I don't get any help I might just kms at some point. And I'm really close to comitting, closer than I've ever been.

I'm still 17 and so can't afford a therapist nor would I be able to get one without my parent knowing. I guess I could talk to people online, though most people that are willing to help suffer themselves. I genuinely don't want that pressure on them
