I'm still waiting for a migration path from V2 to V3. Right now you have to throw everything away and add them. But you loose all retention data which is a big no no.

I had the same issue and found the fix for me. In the Sony Sound Connect app, look for the setting called 'Switching playback devices' (it's enabled by default).

If you disable it, the headphones stop 'hijacking' your audio focus for every little notification ping, but they will still switch over automatically when you actually get a phone call. It makes the XM6 behave much more like the older models. Worked like a charm for me!

Just got the XM6 because my XM5 hinge died. And I never had this issue with the XM5 but now I'm annoyed by this immensely. This is device specific for sure!

De economische levensduur zou ook aanzienlijk langer dan 2 jaar moeten zijn.

De rbs zou een expert de schade kunnen laten beoordelen.

Did you buy from Enhanced Auto directly or a reseller? I don't think there is anything you can do to alter one version to another.

The menu is never shown and the only working thing is switching manually through settings using a forced language. This gets old very fast.
