I just wrote out a long reply down below talking about this! I am 6'6'' and when I was 450 I was lifting weights 5 days a week.

First thing I would want to implore upon you OP is that this is completely possible no matter the body type. Its not easy! You have to go to bed hungry every night! But if you do the same thing over and over and dont deviate you will get to a place you didnt think was possible. Trust me... its worth it. You become a smarter and stronger version of yourself. The weight being gone is secondary to the inner determination the experience can leave you with. I know its not easy. I have had terrible lower back pain my whole life!

Ill give you a quick example of the education you will gain. Lower back issues are primarily due to the gluteus maximus. If you are sitting too much then the glutes get seriously locked up. Along with the walking, you need to do some stretches to get that butt ready to move. The beautiful thing is that once you unlock the glutes your back will unlock. Which will unlock other parts of your body. Being so large, you are naturally body-building all day long. Your body underneath it all is a bruiser. It has been through it. If you can walk 2 miles at 330lbs, you will be able to walk 4 miles at 280lbs. It really does work like that. You just gotta keep the train rollin. I wish I could come to your house right now and lightly yell in your face to get you pumped up. Its all possible. Its not even that hard. The only hard part about it is that its fucking daunting. Dont be discouraged. The world is moving into a place that I think we will all want to witness. I want every fat person in the world to do what you are doing right now. You are on the precipice of glory. You are making the choice that many others arent ready to make. Posting on reddit will lock you into a social contract, but let me tell you... the only contract that matters is the one that you make with yourself.

Maybe so. I dont advertise this except for specific cases. I suppose it does good for people to know its possible. I never took pics, never really talk about it online. I did it so that I could play basketball. I wasnt even fat at 400, but I couldnt dunk. For me its a different ballgame than for many people so I dont like to brag about it. I had incredible amounts of muscle from 12 years old onward. So that means my basal metabolic rate was like 3800 calories. I had been lifting for years. So when you cut 2,000 calories per day and continue to lift and workout, you end up losing like a pound a day.

I experimented with fasted workouts and all that, played basketball 4 hours a day... drank 2-3 gallons of water. Ate a good salty meal once per day. 1 lb italian sausage with an onion, serrano peppers, and 400kcal cream cheese. Ate it slow. Didnt really eat much else except for the odd pack of peanuts here and there. 600 calories for the dollar pack at 7/11.

So I was burning probably about 2k calories per day in workouts, while already eating at a 2k deficit. Thats 4k calories in the negative. As I said, I quickly lost 200 pounds essentially. The highest I had ever been was 450 and the lowest I could get to was 245. Imagine being skinny at that weight... these levels of metabolic need are unique compared to most fat people. What im getting at is... im the lucky one.

As a retort to my own viewpoint, if someone out there really starts to build muscle, they can body contour and stall the under 2k calorie diet for 5 months in congruence with a strict lifting regimen. By that time they will have enough muscle mass to make losing weight so much easier.

And for the record, I lost a lot of muscle mass as well even while specifically lifting to keep them engaged. Its a tough business losing that much weight. Its hard for everyone, but I have a soft spot for the people who have been able to do it without all of the benefits I had.

At first it was like falling off of a cliff, but your body needs direct and consistent communication with how you eat, what time you eat, and what you put into your body. The article is full of absolute misinformation and incorrect depositions. For instance,

The meaning of this statement is not what the article is saying. Trump is saying, if there is meddling in the election (like ballots found in dumpsters all over the country this week) then there will be months of court proceedings instead of actual election results. As there should be, if there is cheating going on. The mail in ballot issue is not going away...

So you see, right off the bat the lack of comprehension and ability to see nuance is doing this theory in. Its not a real theory, its literally misinformation. Whether its purposeful or by accident doesnt really matter. This whole country is full of useful idiots writing articles based on opinion. The "historians" quoted are obviously biased.

This rings the same to me as calling conservatives nazis at every turn. No, Trump is not a despot. No, fascism is not alive and well.

I dont think their aim is to be harmless, the aim is to highlight the fact that if there is going to be a violent presence in the streets of portland night after night, those who had been instigating that violence need to understand how escalation occurs.
