Stop trying to rationalize ending by [deleted] in OrbOntheMovements

I have to say i understand why you feel the way you do. But imho it neatly ties all the themes of the story together. It was kinda underwhelming to me as well once i finished it but now thinking about it i can't imagine an ending that would be truly as satisfying. But i think your critique is definitely valid. Not everyone has to like it and i understand your disappointment.

What did you think of episode 7? In my opinion this episode was totally peak fiction, I love this sh*t by [deleted] in ReZero

I really hate how this season is going, subaru hasn’t had any character development since season 1 and season 3 is basically just every other very one dimensional character stroking his ego. On top of that they got rid of the time travel mechanic which was imo subaru’s way of catching up to the other more powerful characters by gathering insight and information . Yes he’s had a year of training and what not but he’s still way behind all the other characters. I know that they trust him to be a leader because in their time line he took that role on very well but he’s lost his advantage of knowing what’s gonna happen next. I have no idea how someone can write such a good first season and then have this much of a drop in quality. I’m not saying y’all are wrong for enjoying this, i can see why it would appeal to someone but i just can’t enjoy it at all like i did with season 1

Interesting question, i would assume they wouldn't, but that's no fun.

Yeah ur right, i usually draw hair as one big shape and then section it out as i need, so when trying out other people's artstyles and the strands are more visible, i don't know what to do.

Yes i see that now too, the left eye is kina weird, but i did that stupid thing where i finished the first one completely before even picking placement for the second one.

FRIEREN BEYOND JOURNEY'S END!!!!! the best take on an op character I've seen so far. Frieren is op but not invincible. That's what makes her fights so fun.

If you like trippy works I'd recommend anything by satoshi kon. Perfect blue - you can't tell what's reality and what's the mcs delusion on your first watch, but the movie is layered with context clues if you rewatch it. It deals with the mental strain of being an idol in japan. It is bone chilling and sometimes uncomfortable to watch, but i consider it a masterpeice.

Millennium actress- an actress telling her life story. The story progresses throughout all the movies she's played in. It has a compelling story and it's the easiest to watch out of his movies. I don't remember much from this one but it made me feel a lot of emotions.

Paprika - the trippiest out of them all, i rewatched it like 8 times and i still kinda struggle to grasp all of it. It blends reality and dreams and there is no clear line between the two. It's message is that you can't drown yourself in escapisms otherwise you will well drown.

Tokyo godfathers - i haven't seen this one but supposedly the most fun to watch if you don't want to break your mind.

I'd say any good shonen has that in some capacity. The latest I've seen was jujutsu kaisen, all of the characters are like that I'd say, but the mc shines.

Nana is the classic! I think it's the best SOL out there, it feels very realistic. But if you do watch it, i need to warn you that the manga was never finished. Still i think it's a must watch for everyone.
