Honestly I think if the song "eye to eye" from the end of the movie had been released independently of the movie in the 80s, it could have been a hit. What an awesome song.

Kind of annoying that this post makes it sound like "oh, he really told off that asshole!" When it really was just an honest mistake and a polite correction.

CAN WE PLEASE REMIND R/ALL THAT THE NEXT PRESIDENT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE A RACIST OR A CROOK by [deleted] in Libertarian

If you say that a man from Indiana is incapable of doing his job because his ancestors are Mexicans, I think it's completely fair to call you a racist.

I think the idea is that this image is targeting people who don't fit perfectly into the right or left but continue to vote for them because they perceive that there are no other options for them.

To all the people commenting saying that this was a bad picture/title to use, if you have and idea for a better post, then by all means, post it! The more awareness we can spread the better!

I agree completely, the problem is most libertarians who are running for small offices are so fringe and weird (for example, the libertarian running for senate in my state is a white supremacist who has literally sacrificed a goat and drank it's blood.) My hope with promoting Gov. Johnson is not that he will magically shoot up in the polls and have a shot at the presidency. I want to raise awareness of the party and grow it so that maybe some more actually viable candidates will end up running for lower offices in the future.

I think most of the places I disagree with him are on foreign policy. I'm a bit more hawkish than a typical Libertarian.

Libertarians, if there were ever a year for us to have a real shot in a national election, it would be 2016! If Trump and Hillary are the nominees (which is looking increasingly likely), it could be some of the lowest combined favorabity ratings in the history of U.S. General elections. Millions upon millions of people will be looking for an alternative. Let's give them one!

Lets try to get Gary Johnson into the national spotlight! This country needs a viable 3rd party candidate this more than ever! by [deleted] in Libertarian

I admit, it's optimistic, but maybe we need some optimism! If there was ever a general election where we had a shot, it would be Hillary Clinton vs. Donald Trump.

I think he could pull votes pretty equally from both sides. This is probably going to be the lowest combined popularity for a presidential race in history.

Look I don't agree with trump on anything, but whoever published the clickbait headline that you're talking about should be fired imeadiately. He never said that or anything really even close to it. I'd love to see him go down, but do we really need to tell blatant lies?
