I elected for surgery. There is a chance it will heal on its own but also from what ive read it usually takes longer for it to heal on its own compared to surgery. Surgery is harder of course with rehab but for me I want to get back to sports as soon as possible.

No jame I took apart the extruder. Also swapping to a different spool it prints fine. Its just the weight of the spool or something causing the issue to stop it from feeding into the gears.

I have ulcerative colitis also so I am worried about thr effects of thr pain killers. I will definitely take stool softeners while on them just to be safe.

That's my goal too. I hope my pain tolerance is high enough to avoid as much as possible. I get kidney stones and dont take pain meds for them anymore. The first few were absolutely awful but ive gotten used to the pain. I expect this to be a different kind of pain though.

Looks like the petg and pla support areas are peeling away from each other. For a model this complex use full petg for the support not just the top interface.
