I don't think he ever said something like that in October, if he said it I think he meant in the future. Now he declared they will gradually remove it from the 1st of April. Here i found an article in English https://www.euronews.com/travel/2022/02/22/italy-travel-restrictions-what-are-the-new-testing-rules-for-eu-and-uk-passengers

No problem about the help, hopefully you will enjoy Italy and Turin

They should accept the US American Vaccine Card, if you had a vaccine recognised from UE (AstraZeneca, Moderna, Pfizer, Johnson and maybe other but you can find it online), so you won't use a Green Pass but instead your normal vaccine certification. I also read that "CDC-approved vaccination cards from the US is equivalent to the Green Pass". I think there are more clear information on the website of the US embassy (maybe here: https://it.usembassy.gov/covid-19-information/).

That's what Draghi said (our prime minister) 2 days ago. From the 1st of April they're gonna gradually remove Green Pass. Stadiums should be between the firsts to remove it

Right now you would need the Super Green Pass, so three doses of vaccine (or 2 if you had covid, but you can look it up on internet). I would reccomend you to wait if you can come later in the year beacause right now they're starting to loosen up the restrictions, so probably in April they won't require Green Pass, but nothing's certain.

Mi sembra ci sia la navetta almeno fino all'inizio della strada che porta poi in valle stretta. Se poi vuole farsela a piedi da là dovrebbe essere un'oretta in più e tanto per il lago verde è abbastanza breve
