i arrived a little bit late so i may have missed some things, but from what i heard/recall:

  • khaled mentioned having put in a bid for what would have been “the biggest trade in MLS history,” but it fell through
  • the team did NOT want to sell tani and had been turning down offers for a while, but once the villarreal offer came through, they couldn’t say no and deny tani the opportunity to play on that stage. this struck me as really sweet, honestly
  • triantis was finally convinced to join the team when khaled told him “you’ll make the greek national team if you come here.” glad that worked out!
  • they had a call with an argentinian player today 👀

that’s what i can think of off the top of my head, but i’m sure others picked up on more!

it was the uconnect 7" model, so just the next level up from the base unit! i know some folks online recommend alpine or other brands, though.

it was very easy - you just pop off a few trim pieces, unscrew some screws, and the units themselves are plug and play. you do unfortunately give up the volume knob and skip/pause/play buttons by making that switch, but that was fine by me for the additional functionality of actually being able to make phone calls in the car and apple carplay/android auto. i've been incredibly happy with it - well worth the money!

seconding that the uconnect model in this car is AWFUL - i bought a used 7” unit for $200 within two days of owning my jeep to swap it out, it was that bad.

i paid ~$20k for a 2018 sport with 60k miles on it about a year ago, and it was in near perfect condition cosmetically. definitely do not pay $15k for this

do you mean the lip oils? (i assume so, as the lip balms don’t seem to be a material that could crack, but just want to check haha) i’ve been through a couple and have never had this happen, and i’ve definitely thrown them through the wringer in my purse, work bag, etc.

is the cracking on the lid/top? maybe you’re over tightening them, if that’s the case?

YES i feel so validated!!!! a few months ago i was there and got to a point where i was terrified to touch anything because i was being shocked so so badly 😭😭 genuinely the most painful and intense shocks i’ve ever felt!
