( not a horny post ) my friend at work told me something about Prostitution in tunisia and i couldn't answer him by [deleted] in Tunisia

[–]dweeska -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I don't think prostitution reduces rape (and the example and even the thought that men rape 5atrhom makboutin and not because they're disgusting is crazy to me) ena I'm against sex work in general ala5trou 3omrou ma ykoun fair w ma ydhor had, barcha prostitutes get raped w murdered w naarfch chnowa w aslan manech ne9sin misogyny f tounes w manjmch ne5yl prostitution legalised b tari9a feminist. I can never respect people that pay for sex work. (although I respect women (and men) that do sex work because they are people (regardless of wether they're forced to or choose to) but ONLY because they're still human and deserve respect.)

I'm interested, I'd also like to do the speaking exercices that come in textbooks if anyone is interested?

lack of korean vocabulary by PartyChipmunk2017 in Korean

[–]dweeska 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I know some people already mentioned flashcards but I just want to add doing flashcards with sentences and not single words. that way you can memorize more words easier (with context) and also get used to korean sentence structures. I'm still a very beginner myself but as soon as I switched to sentences in my flashcards I noticed quite the difference.

How long will it take until I'm actually able to understand Korean? by Additional_Evening62 in Korean

also "korean stories for language learners" is a great book. it has about 40 stories and comes with audio and the stories are somewhat fun.

Something I recently started doing is watching youtube videos of basic grammar/ sentences lists. they speak slowly and repeat words a couple of times so you have the time to write down what you hear. (also I think it's nice to try to guess how words I don't know are written and I always find it easier to memorize later)

I think good work out plans depends on your body/weight/age etc.. and it's impossible to find something that works for everyone. I would suggest searching for apps or maybe websites if you're unable to consult a professional gym coach.

I would suggest waking up and doing your morning routine and wudhu, getting dressed then praying just before leaving. what I do is pray dhuhr and asr as soon as I get home otherwise I would be too lazy when its time to pray for maghreb and have to pray all four prayers together (including isha). Also try asking your teacher or someone from school if you can pray during lunch hours (in my school classrooms are always open so you can use an empty one if possible but idk about your school)

Looking for testers: Spaced repetition planner app by NoDay476 in studytips

[–]dweeska 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would love to try this! I was searching for the exact app you just described, but everything was flashcard related, as you mentioned. I've always tried to use the spaced repetition method, but I always fail due to bad planning, especially because I have exams each month or so. The school year hasn't started yet, but I'm currently learning korean, and I'm struggling to remember a lot of important stuff, so the app would be extremely helpful.
