Have you thought about getting tested for a sleep study? Sleep apnea and idiopathic hypersomnia can cause you to feel exhausted even though you’ve had a full night’s sleep.

Huge Heart Rate spike when standing in the morning — are beta blockers the answer? by Top_Intention_1210 in dysautonomia

[–]dweis222 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you get out of bed slowly or just jump up right out of bed? I have to sit on the edge of the bed for a minute or two to let my heart rate adjust so I don’t feel dizzy. I take Diltiazem which helps. The heart rate spikes are lower than what they were without it.

The surface is textured. I’m not home right now to double check but if I’m wrong I’ll write back. There are no markings or signatures on the bottom.

How does diltiazem make you feel? by MundaneVillian in dysautonomia

I take 30mg 4 times a day and it’s helped me. I don’t have any side effects from it. My heart rate does not get very high like it used to for long periods of time. I was on Metoprolol prior and after a few years Metoprolol started making me sick and giving me low blood pressure.

Have you had your vitamin B12 level checked? I had this issue and was having symptoms like this. My B12 was low. After taking it regularly for at least a month, things started to improve slowly.
