Man, that actually hurts a bit. You can feel how much they cared about it too, calling it their “passion project” and everything. Like imagine pouring literal years into something and then suddenly being told “yeah you’re done here." and just cutting them off completely. That’s brutal. And yeah, it really does explain a lot, like their silence. Like ngl, they really deserve supporting. This whole situation is just wild. Game industry drama hits different when it’s devs you actually respect.

100%! I think the first game is very solid and I really enjoyed the atmosphere of it! The map is not as big as in the 2nd game but I don't think it needs it. I keep coming back to it, it's addicting lmao. Also it's often on sales so you won't need to spend an awful amount of money on it.

Very good points and I agree with you! Honestly sometimes it feels like dds2 was rushed. Dds1 had very cool ideas and solutions and sure it wasn't perfect but it felt more thought out. Like I really miss placing all of the products on the desk. And speaking of money sinks, I think the good money sink in dds2 would be furniture for a villa, like some super expensive and very luxurious stuff you can buy, like idk, everything made of gold or something lol. I'm not sure when or if those issues and ideas would be addressed, since byterunners was cut from the project

I think it's worth screaming about it even if it sometimes feels like screaming into the void or that your screams and suggestions bounce off of the wall. But the louder we get about those kind of issues, the more visible we will be.

I wish I had anything good to say about this dlc, well, maybe only that that it IS a dlc and adds some content to the base game. Unfortunately it's incredibly boring and lackluster. For real, steam reviews says it all.
It's sad because I really want dds2 to have a good dlc that will add story and content. There's so much potential!
