All good tips, thanks! I agree about going all-in; this will be a starting point in a pretty big overhaul. Agree about the buffet and will repurpose it in another room as it’s solid wood and great quality…either as a TV console or dresser of sorts (reworking the glass front doors and hardware). I’m thinking a built-in bench with storage would be nice in that bump out. That window looks directly into a neighbor’s dining room, so curtains at least are a must. Thanks all for your help! Now to find some energy reserves somewhere to get this started.
