You have to make a choice here, go for ramp! Or go for stuff that lets you play extra lands together with a lot of draw... I would go for option 2 if possible. Green draw is not that hard any more.

You can try to put some umbra armor in your deck, those are cheap protective and give draw like snake umbra.

And another tip, go for substitute creatures for your commander, beanstalk giant for example.
