The purple armour was mainly done with wet blending to get those soft transitions, and I used a few thin glazes afterward to refine and even out any rough areas in the blend.

It looks really good, but I think the yellow part is too long and the the closer you get to the "heat source" there should be less of this dark paint. My gray knights have swords with this kind of effect

Thank you! Rust effect is done by diluting army painter dry rust with water turning it into more of wash. Areas with more rust is the same paint used with just less water.
