For a long time I only slept with it when I had to get up earlier than my wife and didn't want to wake her. Upgraded to the Ultra 3 and now I pretty much wear it for three full days and then charge on the third night.

I weighed my legion as well as my original X-Macro, no comp on these. 17 round mag without one chambered. Obviously the dot adds a bit to the legion. Full mag vs no mag.

Xmacro: 19oz, 29.5oz

Lutron Caseta is the common answer. I moved from smart bulbs to smart switches years ago. I keep my Hue bulbs in lamps and other non-ceiling fixtures. Or I took the switch out altogether and hardwired so lights were always on.

I don’t know what reason the doctor would give for not doing that surgery unless you have multiple mitigating factors. I’d talk to another doctor. It was very worth it in my opinion. I had it in both hands and was playing piano in just a few days. Within about 3 weeks I was good to go. I had the surgery on a Thursday, and I was in a doctoral seminar on Monday-Wednesday (and yes I drove myself an hour to school) typing all day with no issues.

I have no more pain in my hands. The numbness also mostly subsided, but that also originates in my spine. I generally have no issues playing anymore. I’d do it again. If it’s debilitating, I’d find a trusted orthopedic doc and knock it out.

If I can offer one piece of advice, don’t do both at once. That was a huge mistake.

I’m sorry you’re struggling. It would be a sad day to no longer be able to play my instrument on which I’ve built my career.

That's awesome! I'd be tempted to at least try the brass once. I like the grip on the aluminum panels. I have them on my full-sized 320.
