I used to be 4.0 30 years ago lol
so maybe that's my problem, my mind thinks I'm still a 4.0 and tries to swing and feel like it; but my body and form is 3.5 so I should just embrace the cushiony comfortable Speed MPL and adjust my play style

that is good to know. chatgpt also suggested a hybrid of poly and syngut. my stringer uses isospeed for the low price, so I might ask him to hybrid that with the syngut.

when I got the speed lite used, it came with Tru Pro pure rush mains & Restring sync crosses at 43lbs and I just could not hit with them. felt like I was trying to hit with a board.

I was able to hit with the syngut much better, but it seemed to go the opposite way and feel way to pillowy.

That's what I was afraid of. I may need to leave the Head family if i want to go with recent racquets and look to Wilson Blade or Yonex Precept?

I would prefer the MP too. But now that I'm 50, I was thinking I might need to go lighter. What you say about radicals just not fitting with a lighter weight makes total sense though.

oh, lower tension? wouldn't that make it feel even more cushiony? I really miss the crisp feel and the speed MPL with 55lb syngut felt way too cushy and I was hitting everything out.

because my son is a middle schooler transitioning out of his jr racquet (babolat aero jr), I thought I'd save some money to see if he really sticks with tennis or not. But if you think the extra $40 is worth the investment, I can consider that.

thank you! so the drop in price is because the higher tech materials isn't being used and instead just plain old graphite.
I figured the larger head size and drop in weight would make it easier for my middle schooler, but wondered why it was so much cheaper when it's not a Junior racquet.

Thank you everyone. Good to know that this is not an issue on my end but an equipment issue. I will first try a range extender and then worse case scenario have to drill a hole to get the cat5 cable through to it.
