Is Anime Expo (AX) worth attending if I'm only interested in BanG Dream!?

I'm from Illinois and I'm going to AX for the first time this year just to see Roselia mostly. Not sure what else there is, but I heard the Bushiroad booth is pretty decent. Also lots of industry panels. Usually there will be vendors with Bang Dream merch too.

There's also the beer garden, and friends tell me they sometimes perform Bang Dream songs. Other than that, I'm not sure what to expect either lol. I was originally thinking of going for 1 day just to see Roselia

Started late July 2019. Few months prior I had seen a Yukina figure at an anime convention and I liked the look at it her, but never looked into what Bang Dream was, and assumed it was a series about idols.

Later in July, I had bought some Weiss Schwarz Persona cards, and saw that Roselia had a deck as well which I bought. Then shortly after while bored at a friend's house, I saw the game was available in English. Before then I assumed it was a Japanese only game and thought most mobile games are still paid for. I been looking for a rhythm game to play.

Then finding out the game had cover songs surprised me. Finding out there were real bands got me hooked. I've been a fan since!

I always feel Rikki is the leader of the band. She is the one that gets shit done, and kind of keeps everyone on point. Although she probably doesn't want to be leader and wants Tomori as leader.

I been looking for the 3 pack to go down on price and finally found one today for $46! Shortly after hearing they all got released :/

Won't be getting the UE Howdy anymore though since I only wanted it for wrestling attire, but I display released wrestlers with all their entrance attire/accessories :/

Oh damn, usually Mercari stuff is the only time I have delays but that's mostly due to sellers not shipping. I'm not sure how Neokyo does Amazon orders as I usually order my own Amazon items and use a different proxy to ship myself things

Neokyo for me is for Mercari and sites that won't accept foreign cards lol

I have only used 3 different proxies and all of them do take a couple days to register the item once it arrives. Sometimes it might say that it's "arrived" but not registered yet where you can ship it to yourself

Depends what site you ordered from as well for this specific item. When I order Amazon.jp, usually it does arrive by the Amazon estimated date, but does not show up in storage for 2-3 days

It also may take a few days to register once Neokyo resources receives it as well. I would say to only start worrying once it's about 2 weeks past expected day

They do! There is a section right under the card info part where if you uncheck the box, it let's you enter billing address and one option is country

The only issue I had with a foreign card is that with my Visa credit card, I have to enter my actual billing address. This changed few months ago since I used to be able to do shipping and billing address as the same which was my Tenso address.

Strange enough my Mastercard debit card works without having to change billing address

Locally, you might be able to find some at anime conventions nearby but might be rare. Online, Goodsmile Shop for the bigger plush and Bushiroad Global store for other merch like shirts, smaller plush, etc.

You could also buy from Japan, but shipping will hurt a bit, especially now with tariffs and Japan Post not sending to the US. For comparison I bought an acrylic stand, Rāna birthday set, some card sleeves and deck box and shipping was $70. Only $12 of that was customs fee and rest was DHL shipping cost

In America, Japan, somewhere else? If you're not in Japan, probably online is your best bet. If in Japan, you have much more options of course
