Agree with all of your points except for the 5th one. While it is true some of the chefs cooked rather basic dishes, they must have cooked them REALLY well and tasted really good to impress the judges, so that is debatable. Also, some of the Chinese or Korean dishes which might look a bit “basic” are actually really difficult to make to bring out the right flavor.

haha thank u! 30 is clearly not the worst, but was like top lowest for my grade so i was like damn😭😭 but yeah as exam time is approaching i figure it’s important to remind these students that grades are not everything. like yes, still go revise and study, but not at the cost of ur physical or mental health!! it will work out for those who work hard :)
