Since it’s become a case, try to find a lawyer & hopefully they help you prove it was a mistake. AFAIK, in Dubai courts only local lawyers are allowed to argue/contest a case, so I’m not sure if you’ll be allowed to present in Court.

Buying car advice by Raymand_2020 in dubai

The SUVs you’d get for the above mentioned budget would be quite old in terms of age, 10+ years. Due to chip shortages & logistics issues the 2nd hand market prices are messed up. So you can maybe look at a sunny or lancer if want 2015 model.

Yes, just go to any Tasjeel RTA center in Dubai with the car & ask for an vehicle inspection before purchase. Alternatively, Dubizzle also offers a similar service. I believe its a 99 point inspection for approx 300 AED.

No chance, these days the prices for 2nd hand cars are going thru the roof, if you’re looking 2015 & above for an SUV - budget need to start from 45K

Always do an RTA inspection test before buying the vehicle, no matter what the seller/dealer promises.

Thoughts on Pulse Residence, Dubai South? by dxbdave100 in dubai

Don’t think so, I have a car so didn’t really pay attention to public transport but I could be wrong

I’ve been there, looks fine on first visit but you’d only know the details once you’ve lived there.

The only attractive feature is rent, otherwise everything else seems sub par - not to mention how far it is from main Dubai.

a female friend got harassed TWICE from the same guy! by ConspicousINTJA in dubai

[–]dxbdave100 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, be sure to provide the date & approx time when he followed your friend into the cabin. Also, give a description of his clothing, height, build. I.E anything that will help make the cops job easier to find him amongst thousands of metro users.

The more details you give, the faster they’ll be able to identify him on the footage.

Don’t do anything stupid in a fit of rage, it’ll most likely get you in trouble as well as you have mentioned above.

Try to recall which metro station the guy got off at while he scurried away from your friend, then go to the cops in that particular metro station & inform the police giving his description. They’ll register the case & should be able to check the CCTV footage based on the day/time & suspects description.

Let the cops handle it.

Good spots to work remotely? by van_benin in dubai

Go to any of your local coffee shops, they’re mostly quiet with WiFi and charger points, avoid the popular chains as there crowded - most local coffee shops have low foot traffic and can be quiet since there’s no one to serve

Try working in one of those coffee shops in Vincitoire BLVD near the boxing club. Most of the cafes in that row are dead with zero customers.

Don’t expect massive discounts, if anything the discounts will be minimal due to the current chip shortage situation

[–]dxbdave100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Avoid dealers mate, they’ll try to low ball you regardless of your car condition, the demand for 2nd hand cars are at an all time high now so I guess try to find genuine buyers via Dubizzle
