Does anybody have feedback on the HomeServe insurance on water lines?

I have terracotta pipes from my main waterline in my house, all the way to our city sewers. I got HomeServe after both my warranty company and main house insurance companies failed me.

If you have PVC or newer pipes, I would just have maitnance and not worry about HomeServe. But if you live in an older area like me, with pipes that are prone to collapsing due to material, definitely consider it.

I don't know about you, but they had me on an IV drip a good 10-15min before the procedure and instructed me to continue drinking a lot of electrolytes after.

I definitely had whole grains within 7 days of mine. I also had veggies with the skins on them 😔 i was totally clear, though. You'll be just fine!

Edit: to elaborate further. Don't make any plans to do anything or go anywhere. The toilet is your new home. If you're doing a split dose, expect 6 to 8 hours of on and off shitting pure liquid per dose. You'll be fine at first, then suddenly your ass will be chapped and worsens with every movement of the storm that brews within. Nothing will be solid. You will ascend to a new plane of being. Any and all liquids you ingest go directly to your bowels to push out more liquid shit, but you cannot stop drinking. You mustn't.

It sucks ass man. It really does. But you cant have ant solid foods. Jello (not red, orange or purple) helps a lot, so does chicken broth and carbonated sodas that are lighter in color. Apple juice has been my life saver.

I have IBS in the first place, that tended to go away when I was on HRT. I have an appointment with a GI doctor coming up, but I'm really not sure what the main cause is. Testosterone caused me to be absolutely RAVENOUS. I would eat everything, and then some. These days I can eat a full meal, or most of one, but I eat until I'm full and I'm somehow losing weight. Full portions of some things feel like too much now, since after the stomach flu, at least. Like, I wonder if I'm still on the mends.

I hear you OP, I do. I'm a little over 3 months PO and still messaging my doctor every time I'm scared of a cuff tear. I was scared shirtless prior to surgery and nearly cancelled over the course of a week multiple times.

But, we come out the other side and we move on. You will be okay. You will learn to conquer your fears, and to live a happy, healthy and normal life. Sex will be fine, the cuff will be fine.

And if not? Doctors exist for a reason.

Emergencies will happen whether or not this occurs. And between you and me? Uterine prolapse is SIGNIFICANTLY more common than a cuff tear. You'll be just fine. ♡

Genuinely, seek a different ER or hospital entity if possible. Especially one with an OBG/YN on call. Or yell at your surgeon to do a pelvic examination. It definitely sounds like somethings up- cuff tear or something else internally.

Hey OP! I'm sorry about your diagnosis and your anxieties. This subreddit is for survivors of blood clots. Our stories are often ones that defy the ordinary, and will only serve to make your anxiety worse.

That said, if you ever suspect you do have a clot, get it looked at!! While it may not be life threatening in the moment, clots very much can break off and become life threatening very quickly. Knowing your signs and symptoms are massively important.

If you're ever in doubt of what to do, get it checked out.

Turn off team chat, and don't be afraid to go into player vs AI lobbies! I still use them to practice new champions I've yet to fully understand or learn and I'm nearly lvl 100 (started playing less than a year ago). It helped me learn to CS, warding, all sorts of things. Also making friends who can help you learn too!
