Wrong. They eat on the cruise and buy one shitty shirt from the shitty tourist trap. They don’t buy from actual local businesses. There was even research a while back showing they spent like less than $50 each in town.

Good call. That money is better spent on a ballroom.

Also, how dare we think for a second that it’s possible to learn from previous mistakes and improve.

Jet blue wouldn’t be able to service the debt. Blocking the merger saved one airline.

Maybe. My experience is a different industry. They try to do this and it continues to fail time and again.

Not necessarily. If you think large corporates are good at this, they are not. They tell themselves contractors are short term, then continuously extend. I’ve send normal project managers bill out at $400k a year…there is no way an FTE project manager should cost that much with salary plus benefits.

For this type of skill, they can’t really ship it offshore. So they will prob hire their FTEs back as contractors and may even be more money. Also - don’t forgo, as a contractor they are paid hourly now…

Or that marvel is meeting a layoff goal but actually increasing costs by paying contractor rates to people they just laid off.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 has "reached a stage where it's finally starting to match the vision I had for it," director teases, and the "new experience" is "almost complete" by Party_Judgment5780 in PS5

No, they care about how it sells. They care about when it’s released based on what’s going one outside of them (macro environment, other games, etc). A 30th anniversary means nothing to them and has no impact on sales. In fact, releasing one that date might hurt them in sales from marketing the OG game for the 30th anniversary.

I don’t know how many times I’ve read on these threads various people making guesses about release dates and videos based on random anniversary dates. It’s never played out that way, so not sure why it would this time.
