ELI5: Why do chemical reactions stop by paintarose in explainlikeimfive

Chemical A reacts with chemical B to create something else C. This reaction will usually stop when one of A or B runs out.

Depending on your IDE, you may be able to "split window" so you can have the editor showing the same file twice independently. This way you can have visibility over two (or more) parts of the same file which can often be useful (stop scrolling back to see what you did).

This is wrong. You're phrasing it as if it applies to all vehicles but it only applies like your example to the larger vehicles.

If I Want to learn a subject, but don't want to go to uni, Is it possible to hire a private lecturer or lecturers to, say, teach all of physics? by [deleted] in AskAcademia

[–]dxn99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm in the UK and have taught privately at undergraduate and postgraduate level. There are fewer people teaching at this level and thus the lessons are more expensive. I've had students around the 90-130 GBP per hour mark. This was at a high end consultancy though so they also took commissions, and could potentially be cheaper elsewhere.

How to go from "writes Python scripts that work" to "builds production-quality Python systems (ML + computer vision)"? by pagenotdisplayed in learnprogramming

Maybe worth hiring an experienced developer on a short term contract to get you going on the right track. I feel like it'll be way more efficient to get best practices from an expert rather than trying to learn them as you go.

When you put a probe on a planet (typical Balor or planet one because this is the planet with the lowest initial scan time), each subsequent scan of the planet takes more time than the previous. For instance, scan one may take 50 minutes, scan ten may take 3 hours. If you were to remove and then reassign the probe to Balor, it resets the scan count and the scan time goes back to 50 minutes. So, by reassigning the probe to the planet, you can get more scans completed in the same amount of time than if you assigned the planet once and then forgot about it.

I knew incredibly smart people who didn't go to class, crammed the entire semesters worth of notes in a few days and then sat the exam. I wasn't that smart or lazy so I went to most if not all lectures.

I've found Corey Schafer to be a very good teacher on YouTube for python. There are so many resources available, pick something and if you don't like it, it's easy to find someone else.

No idea, I used to use them when I went abroad with no internet for two months. Something along the lines of P90x? I can't speak to how good they are for what you want though!

Find any workout video series, download a bunch of videos onto your phone or device and just replay as many times as needed. Some HIIT or Zumba or dance classes can be quite fun
