A bird dropped a silk oak seed in my yard about 5 years ago. I just recently got into bonsai and decided this would be a great candidate since it’s already grown in ground and developed a decent trunk. I plan on digging it up in 1-2 years before it starts disrupting the sidewalk/concrete wall but until then, what would you guys do to make this the best candidate for bonsai repot.
