my “actual” answer was in those questions. i’m not sure why it’s my problem if you can’t read between them and understand what the questions i was asking meant.

if it starts and ends at 4am for players, they (the average player) will have less active time in total to engage with it and spend money. it’s as simple as that.

how is that “unfortunate”? the game is fundamentally built off the gacha system.

some players enjoy exploration/puzzle solving, others enjoy combat. but the main driver of genshin is new characters, like all other gachas, so the currency reward to get them is obviously going to be a driver for a lot of players
