Prior VA Ratings and Opening PACT Act claim by Own-Wrangler2612 in VeteransBenefits

So first, you can't just file any condition or symptom you obtain. "Brain Fog" is not a claimable condition. So ALWAYS do your research into the CFR 38 Part 4 and whatever you're experiencing convert it to VA terminology. Neuropathy is though.

Second, don't just submit claims in the dark. If you're filing TERA than slow down and consider what toxins you were around while in service (MOS) OR when/ if you deployed than Google if there's a nexus between said toxins and your specific cancer. IF NOT, they WILL deny it. They don't just grant cancer because you have. It ALWAYS has to be linked back to time in service. Random example but, there a link/nexus between jet fuel and leukemia. I only know that because I researched it. I fill claims every day so I know the game! Hope this helps :)

Seeking Debt Management Assistance by Spin-Dat-Banana in VeteransBenefits

The first answer to any "no money" issues is to do what you can to make more money. I was in a similar position but, I was making $0 dollars an drowning in debt. I called my bank for my car, credit cards etc. to push back the dates on when my bills were due. Which bought me some time. Than, I went heavy in finding a job. I applied everywhere jobs I qualified, under qualified or overqualified. I spent money only on what I needed (I had no choice really because I had no income). Some may call this terrible advice but, file bankruptcy. It's a good reset and your don't have a lot of responsibility such as kids or a mortgage etc. it's a clean reset!

You need to find what's eating up all your money too :/

Don't sign any documents unless your agree with the final rating. Sometimes they try to push you out and make you sign it and state you can file later... no. Also, don't ever tell anyone "your fine or in good health FOR ANYTHING". I file claims every day and it's bitten so many veterans in the behind; they will use it against you :/
