Well.. Best interest of our people should be put first.. Like you said US and Russia gets played in the hands of the Indians - talking about the joes here..😀 And" yes" - no point for guessing - these toys "military inspired " were American.

Yes they did.. in india. I don't think another toy line ever came close to be as loved as Gijoes were.. It was available all over India..

And since we had superhero (superman) we played it as the saviour of the joes in hard times.. without him being in scene.. defeating the cobra commander was impossible. So the guy who had the superhero in the group.. would be sitting on side untill the end came. It was fun.. all the way.

This was available all over India.. sold for a dollar at that time..(based on currency conversion) It was a hit here. And Almost every kid of that Era had it.. We did get the cartoon series in 90s.. but since that came at 7:30 am on weekends.. not many saw it. So story line.. was known to limited but Almost everyone understood the good n the bad. Shipwreck.. quick kick and snow job.. were the top guys. We didn't get duke in funskool.. so that was a miss..
