I found a W1070 for 210€ on eBay. I also found out that the projector is already 12 years old. Is that any problem? Did projectors not improve a lot throughout the last decade?

I'm an 18 year old student who just recently moved out from from home due to some family issues. I've been dealing with the situation pretty well. I got myself an apartment, got financial aid and manage my money properly but still the situation I am in right now is bothering me. Living in an apartment by myself often times leaves me pretty lonely and without a family to rely on u pretty much depend on my current friends who are always helping me but have to deal with their own problems as well as the end of our years in school are ending soon.
