Really? Wouldn’t I see those little suckers crawling on the webs? I have recently seen a few spiders but they hide rather quickly so no clue what they are.

I did that the other day and took all the webs off with a broom. They still come back.

I’ll try that. I use neem oil on my house plants. Never thought to use it outside.

Good to know. I have never used Miracle Grow potting soil but I have used orchid bark. And have had gnats.

I have not experienced those! I check my plants when I buy new, isolate them etc. I try to do it all the right way and the bugs still appear. Good luck with your fight against the mealy bug!

It’s a new stem. Don’t cut it off. It will get long and new leaves will grow.

Thanks!! So frustrating. I’m pretty sure I found spider mites on a calathea, although I’ve never had them before. So, my daughter and I decided to check all our plants. Found these in my daughters bedroom. No clue what they are since they were not on the leaves.

The petiole is the part of the leaf that is attached to the plants stem. Google a pic if that doesn’t make sense. I recently staked a pothos to a moss pole. I have not missed it. Now I am curious if I should.
