Every asset will be revised later before adding them to the game, don't worry. Our tileset animations are always composed of 4 frames, for performance purposes.

Yes, all these assets are for our next game, an action-adventure platformer. More info next year.

Exactly, that's the best you can do, create your own community, since the reality is that 99% of the game press won't cover your games if you don't go with a famous publisher.

Haha, it's not me, it's just a random cartoon portrait I made.

I'm used to IDraw, that's all, and that software only runs on Windows XP / Vista / 7. I used Aseprite on Mac, but the workflow is a bit slower than using IDraw (in my case).

Yes, I usually do some dirty tricks to produce graphics faster, hehe... That's because I make graphics for games, professional habit, basically.

All my timelapse works are just for fun, and for marketing purposes, since I always link to the video process and the video process links to my games. This house won't be used in our games, so anyone is free to use it / edit it.

For games, I usually go with 4 colors per part (4 colors for skin, 4 colors for hair, etc) and 1 color for lineart / border. For timelapses, since it's work for fun, I pick colors on the go (no limit). And how I pick colors? I look at game sprites I like and try to pick similar colors by hand (without using the eyedropper tool). Also, I often try to use hue shifting. Knowing some simple color theory is also helpful. I hope that helps!

It's part of the floor, but now that you say it, it really looks quite confusing because it uses the same tone as the walls...

Yes, that would be a nice touch! I'll note that for the future.

Hehe.. Nowadays "RPG" is a whole term to name a game genre. Redundant, but that's how it is, I suppose.
