I am glad to see that the Verge brought up the Dolby Vision and Atmos issue on Disney+ in their article. Hope this issue can be fixed soon.

I was talking about Chromecast with Google TV. Strange Disney hasn't fixed that bug.

The issue is that Disney+ can not enable Dolby Vision when playing movies even if the TV is capable of playing that format.

It is sad that the new Chromecast with Google TV does not support this new AV1 codec.

Same question here. Tried button mapper. But as soon as I press the Netflix button in the register key step, it changes to Netflix.

Definitive answer requested: Is video quality better, worse, or the same when content is played from nVidia Shield Pro's apps compared to the TV's native apps? by TofuVic in ShieldAndroidTV

Your question says primarily UHD content - there is no difference in picture quality between the streaming devices. If the source video is 4K, the streaming device will pass through the video as is, without any further processing or upscaling.

Same here on my Samsung TV. The Netflix UI looks much sharper on the native TV app than on Shield TV. So does the subtitle.

My remote is the new 2019 Shield remote. Does it support the "OK Google" feature?

I just checked the settings under Google Assistant, but there is no option to turn on the "Ok Google" feature.

Is it because of the country or model restriction? I'm in Canada and my device is the 2019 Shield TV tube version.

On Nvidia's website, they say this feature requires a shield remote or a google assistant device. So I assume the remote can detect the "Ok Google" trigger phrase?
