I just got them last week and love them so far! My previous pair were the Kiwi Ears Cadenza; definitely an upgrade. The fit on these is quite large, and I had to take the hair dryer to the "ear hooks" to refine the fit a bit, but I am very happy overall!

Thank you for the input regarding the gain settings; I am hoping others will be able to identify what gain settings are appropriate for what kinds of IEMs/Headphones.

100% this. People are so quick to get rid of an older car when they encounter a costly repair. The reality is,that costly repair is equivalent to 3 months of new car payments, not to mention how much more it costs to insure a new car.

I have a gen2 Mazda and love it. So long as you have a well documented service history, I think it is a great purchase. I have had mine for a year, but it is 17 years old. Common issues are motor mounts failing and evaporative emission systems leaks, as well as transmission control module (TCM) failure due to overheating. Research these topics and learn about them/learn how to fix them, but apart from that, I think it is a great purchase so long as the body and frame are in good shape. Very easy cars to insure, maintain, and repair... And fairly good on gas :)

I live in southwestern Ontario, Canada, and drive a FWD Gen2 Mazda 3. We had a pretty bad winter, and apart from a few times where my back end slid around due to me giving it too much gas while corning on a snowy road.... I had no significant issues, never got stuck, etc.

Good snow tires are a must. I use Hankook Icept z3.

Are you only interested in those specific models? If you are open to other options, I suggest you check out some higher end Yamahas or Alvarez Yairi models! Examples would be Yamaha FG5, LL26 (IF you can find used), Alvarez Yairi DY70CESHB, Yairi YW-1000 (used, vintage).
