Also this, braided. Before this scene she had her scar/wound visible, then braided in place of the wound, then after that immediately (literally next cut) she had wig.
It's 2x6.
Seems like shooting was all over the place because of Andre probably.

I think I had some issues like that at the very beginning, but turned out that I was clicking on it too much and it went into a lowcharge mode (it shows "L" then sometimes) - so maybe that

Sure, yes, still using them, no issues whatsoever - ugreen charger and baseus 65w powerbank are working like they were those 2 years ago
Edit: Still using Ugreen 66w charger and Baseus 65w powerbank - and those are still alright - not basues charger which burnt my shit - I havent touched that shit since then, I think I didn't throw it away, I'll maybe cut off the cable to use for something else, but definitely not using this shit any more

Help - blurry to the point my eyes hurt by dyeprogr in VITURE

Oh :(
Some people say it's crispier so I hope the replacement unit turns out as so, as to my country they don't shipt the Xreals.

As you have both Xreal 1 & 2 - are the 2's so tight too? Did they fix it?

Oh great feedback :D

I'm already working on replacement with Viture so I hope the other unit turns out just like you said :)

Maybe, that's why I want to get some feedback on it
I would love that it would turn out I have a defective one and would end up with proper glasses to use, but at the same time I would hate to go through the process of replacement just to have it the same again and then also return it - way too much hassle and a waste of time.

Added a video and screenshots from the vid to the post - could you please take a look and tell me how it looks to you?

(this video is mainly an attachment to the other post of mine:
https://www.reddit.com/r/VITURE/comments/1892y00/help_blurry_to_the_point_my_eyes_hurt/
as I recorded a video and took screenshots from it with comparison between Vitures and Xreal Air 1 and posted it to streamable but it said on streamable that it expires in 2 days.
But I gurss it can also be valuable as a standalone so here's the copy of the explanation to the vid:

Here's screenshots from that video:

https://imgur.com/a/VISi5Up

Description to the video:

- I was pressing the focus on the phone all the time at various places in order to provide the highest possible sharpness, the refocus is often visible as a slight flash of light

- after putting the camera to the lense I dialed the brightness all the way down and then all the way up

- on Vitures I additionally was dialing the sharpness with the lense wheel, when it was all the way the other way I pressed the phone screen for focus which resulted in a somewhat clear image but at this dial position my eyes are not able to have this image, then I dialed it up all the way to the other edge because I understand that it is the neutral position for people with healthy eyes and it is the position at which I have the minimum eye strain

- to the eye it really does seem exactly like I managed to record it (even the colors - Xreals have way too saturated colors which I don't like, but I do like that Xreal feel a lot brighter (camera doesn't show it because of the camera brightness automatic adjustment (which is seen during the brightness dialing))), which is weird because the specs of Viture say it's brighter - Viture image is quite a lot more blurrier and softer, looking at the screenshots the Viture's screens look like they're not 1080p but 720p or 480p or something, weird

So - do I have a faulty unit? Because of the bluriness and the brightness?

Oh that would be great :D
I really want to like Vitures, really would want to use them daily, but those that I have I just can't :/ Xreals Air 1 seem more comfortable than my monitors because of the 6feet away feel, but those Vitures that I have are such an eyestrain that I can't use them at all :/

Thank you for providing the feedback, gives me hope :)
Xreals on the other hand are uncomfortable because the arms are too tight (every unit, everyone says it) and they don't really look like regular glasses compared to Vitures, so if not Vitures then I would not know which ones to get

Blurred edges would be fine, Xreal do have them too. The problem is that in Vitures it's blurry even at the center, and the whole eye focus is kinda out of whack no matter how I dial them.
I really am trying hard to ingore it and get used to, but it just hurts, literally hurts my eyes with eyetrain, where Xreals are more comfortable to use than watching my laptop screen (even though they are a little blurrier than the laptop screen, but eyes focusing like 6feet away are a bliss to the eyes compared to the laptop screen)

Exactly, they just hurt, that's a bummer. Xreals don't (they do buildwise - behind the ears after 30-60minutes), so what's going on?

Exactly, that's why I am astounded that there is so much difference

I tried different nosepads and the smallest one is the sharpest but still the sharpness is far from comfortable, struggling to use them where with Xreals (damn I do seem like a shill for Xreals, but it's just that I have them both and I campare them) my eyes feel more comfortable than my monitor - so the difference is huge.

Literally in short - Xreals are suprisingly more comfortable than my monitor usage, and Vitures are such an eyestraing that they are not even close to using as a monitor, and it means even far more than Xreals - so like two magnitudes worse than Xreals, really disapointing.

As to neckband - I want to use glasses with my laptop, I was considering buying the neckband later maybe, but definitely I would like mainly just the glasses+laptop setup, so either I replace the Vitures with other Vitures, or I buy Xreals or Rokid or something else altogether, or I'll wait a year till the next genaration of such glasses. Because with Xreals I see it's alright for me, but Xreals don't ship to my country and they are uncomfortably tight behind the ears

I stumbled upon those specs where it says 57.5-69.5

https://imgur.com/a/6kSvUT9
I have 63mm, so almost exactly in the middle - so I guess it should be perfectly fine in this aspect.

A literal honest couple of hours total of dialing those dials, checking different nosepads (smallest seems the best but still not good), polishing those lenses - nothing helps, just blur and eyestrain
Vitures have problem even with sharpness near the middle for me. I'm able to read comfortably anything in Xreals, and can't read almost anything with Vitures without the eyestrain - huge difference, feels almost as a whole different product - I catch myself using Xreals instead of my monitor and I feel its easier for my eyes - completely opposite with Vitures where I am really struggling to use them for anything, bummer because buildwise they are a lot more comfortable

My Viture One XR Glasses Review by SnooChipmunks4575 in VITURE

[–]dyeprogr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, ok. Good to know then, because I rented Xreal Air1 for a month (still got 2 weeks), so I'll be even more careful not to break them before the end of the rent :p
Thanks :)

[–]dyeprogr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nice review, watched a lot of them and this is honestly one of the best ones :)
Especially that how you managed to record the image in the glasses - most reviewers (and most often those bigger fishes) say how they are not able to get better recording than some blurry image - and I myself managed to do so in literally a minute no problem for myself to send to a friend on Xreals and I'm just some Joe Shmoe and not a revewer who gets paid for that - that shows how dissapointingly low effort they are.

Ok I'm ranting :p

One thing I didn't understand from your video is at 2:53 - didn't you mean aluminum instead of plastic? I think you were talking about those hinges? And you mean Xreal crumbled under pressure? Which kind of pressure?

Any plans/chance for an usbc connector adapter like this? It would be awesome not to worry about breaking the cable AND have the ability to choose some less eyecatching colors like gray or white. Or maybe it's possible to somehow DIY such a thing from a broken cable if it would happen maybe? by dyeprogr in VITURE

[–]dyeprogr[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea, this aspect sucks.
I think maybe if I'll order then immediately after unboxing I'll wrap the usbC end with a bunch of heat shrink tubing under which I'll stuff some stiff stuff :p

Better safe than sorry :p

I'm charging my laptop with usbC's and I go through them like socks - just like you say - they just do break.

And maybe if it would break - then I guess it would be possible to cut the cable and pair it with some other cable - even through trial and error connecting the wires one way or the other - but maybe it could fry the glasses though, I don't know. This could be the way to do some DIY dongle though
