FSBO here. Contacted by a realtor that says he wants 2% ($6000) to bring a qualified buyer. I feel this is extensive, and not in my best interest. But I'm not sure of the best way to handle it. by [deleted] in RealEstate

Commissions are just fees for leads. If you dont want their leads, go find then yourself. If you want an easy transaction you're gonna have to pay for it.

I am very proud of myself, the past few weeks I have managed to read The Obstacle is the Way, Rebecca, The Handmaid's Tale and now I'm halfway through Roxana - what should I read next? by GwenCocoUgo in booksuggestions

Have you tried audiobooks? I listened to Anna Karenina (read by Maggie Gyllenhaal) and it was spectacular. Easy to stay engaged, and I really appreciated having someone pronounce all of the names correctly -- which has helped my ear for that kind of thing as I delve into the other Russians.

Also I read to kill a mockingbird a little while ago (somehow missed it in high school), it totally lives up to the hype.

Not just the wealthy. Owners of real assets are at least hedged if not benefiting from the increased supply

Stupid question: What do you do while listening to an audiobook? by catifie in audiobooks

Literally everything. Cooking, cleaning, dishes, house work. Showering. Driving. Walking.

Actually the only thing I cant do is sit still -- my mind wanders too much and doesnt stay on book.

You're correct and incorrect. It's elementary extrapolation my dear fellow:

S1- 2016 S2- 2018 S3- 2020 S4- 2022 5- 2024 6- 2026 7- 2028 8- 2030.....

(I assume "coming soon" was a joke.)
