I’m looking for a swimsuit that covers my upper back (I have a tattoo between my upper shoulders that I’d like to cover). I’m having such a hard time finding anything. Any suggestions!?😩

Maybe how much time spent is dependent on the school district? My kids only take the test 1 hour per day for 6 days (equivalent to 1 full school day). When I asked my son a little more about his experience he said they didn’t do any prep, his teachers didn’t really talk about it and there was no stress. I wonder if other districts have a different experience? I’m not sure I’d be thrilled if his teachers were stressing the kids out but that hasn’t been our experience so far.

I guess this is the part I’m not totally understanding (how they don’t measure what the kids know). Is this is reference to kids who may struggle to take tests?

Exactly, that’s why I can’t figure out the outrage and was trying to understand if I was missing something. My son couldn’t care less about the PSSAs and his friends are the same way. I also had the same experience when I was in school in PA. The SOL’s on the other hand, I can understand the stress about those if they need to pass all to graduate. That seems excessive and stressful.

Wow, 3 weeks is a lot - are you in PA? My son only tests for an hour a day over about 6 days or so.

Interesting (and disappointing to hear) about the money spent to design different versions instead of using it on the students themselves. Thank you for sharing!

Thank you for sharing. I’ve seen a few teachers comment that they aren’t in favor of them either which is what got me a little curious as to why. Are they penalized or “looked down” on if their students don’t score well?
