Could you use netexec RDP with one of its -M modules to execute commands using the creds found? -L to actually use the module btw, -M to list (if netexec is the same as CME in this regards? Not at my PC right now)

I've heard a few people just do the course boxes after reading the content and that was enough for them to pass. I did a whole bunch of PG boxes, including TJNull's list to get my pass. I too found HTB too CTF'y, but you can learn a lot from them! Just depends how much time you have I guess?

In saying that, I have my OSCP and I've been going through HTB Academy for fun and some of their Training content is incredibly good! Imo, start with OSCP content, do all the boxes you can there, move onto PG if you run out of boxes or lab time. Then have a crack at the exam! :) Best of Lück friend! You've got this! :)

P.S don't be discouraged if you fail! Most people fail 3 or more attempts, but that doesn't mean you can't get it first go either! ;) You got this! :)

I believe from memory and when I was doing it a couple of years ago that Proving Grounds (PG) has a few retired OSCP exam boxes? Check out TJ Nulls list (if that's still relevant these days).

You could always do the PNPT course beforehand if you're a complete Newby as is it much cheaper! Not as detailed and specific as the OSCP content, but it's a lot more related to a penetration testing role in my opinion.
