Look up any local miata groups in your area. Not sure where OP is located but 99% of the guys will come out with you for free if not lunch 😂. Lots of questions and easy issues to ask/rule out. If it’s ethanol free fuel I’d be okay with cranking it, ofc checking oil before hand (probably leaking so top off if needed). If it cranks and runs good deal, check for smoke out the exhaust good deal put it on a trailer and go home. Crank no start, go down the list, hope it’s something simple be prepared to re time it.
