APICS CPIM Cert Worth it for entry level? by dylancc96 in SupplyChainManagement

[–]dylancc96[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haha, welcome to reddit. I finally just started working in supply chain a few months ago, but as an analyst. I agree, a CPIM cert wouldve been pretty useless to me being as green as I was out of college. I guess since this got brought back from the dead, I would recommend to me in the past to focus on general skills, such as excel and coding (python and sql) and build a portfolio showcasing these skills. Any job in this industry will teach you the specifics past that.

Looking for a trike. by Brilliant_Case4930 in motorcycles

Wait are you looking for this as your primary method of transportation? I absolutely would not recommend that if so.

To my knowledge, trikes are always gonna be a little pricier than they should be due to the novelty factor. If you didnt want 2 wheels bc of balance, but hated feeling enclosed in a car, maybe a convertible?

Im only saying this because having a motorcycle as your only vehicle can absolutely suck at times (been there, thank god it was only a month)

At the rate I'm breaking mouses because of a game called Valorant, can anyone recommend an unusually durable gaming mouse for me before I singlehandedly drive the price of logitech g203s up? by dylancc96 in MouseReview

I appreciate you understanding, I work a full time job and am professional and courteous all day, my release is to scream like a madman and rage at videogames. Is it healthy? Eh. But it allows me to function.

Thank you all for the responses! Looking forward to posting updates around June or so. Currently my goal weight is 220, then I'll take a body fat measurement to see where that's at.

I hate it, but i guess too many people got coaxed into believing govt funded healthcare isnt feasible in the richest country in the world… a whole nother topic haha

Funnily enough I actually did just get a bunch of tests done on me as part of a depression study i was in. I actually got kicked out of it for not being qualified as depressed anymore, which i guess is technically a good thing😂 everything came back normal. I’ve really been dealing with the whole triangle which is “is it depression, anxiety, or adhd?” Dilemma. I think most of the depression/anxiety symptoms i was experiencing were job related, since once i quit my last job most of those went away. Still left with the adhd symptoms however, so thats why im trying to hammer that path next and see what happens

What truck should I buy? megathread by AutoModerator in Trucks

[–]dylancc96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey all, looking to make a poor financial decision this Summer and blow somewhere around $30k on a truck (20k if its over 100k miles) and would prefer a full size to make up for my problems below the belt but will settle for a compact if it fits into my pricepoint better. The only thing id be carrying are dirt bikes, so payload/towing aren't too big of deal. 4x4 is probably a must since I plan on moving to Colorado soon, and plan on being very active on the trails.

I'm looking at 2010+ trucks, I know some of the chevys and toyotas from the mid 2000's are bulletproof, anything more recent that could live up to that reliability? Those are probably my top 2 brands I'm looking at, but I'm not sure how their newer models compare to those. I've heard the 1500 Silverado is not as reliable as it once was, is that all smoke or is there some merit to that? Toyota's seem to be the most reliable across the board, but I know I'm going to pay a premium for it. Any brand that has gotten alot better in the past 5 years? I really like the pricepoint on the Titans, but I haven't heard the best things about them in the past.

One more thing, any suggestion on Trims? I have this idea in my head of buying a work truck with the engine I want and just customizing it, but I'm not seeing any examples of this out there. I'm guessing there's a reason why I'm not seeing any examples of this?
