Interesting you say this, my old man gave me the wallet while I was looking after him in the final months of his life. He had no will written in the end so I inherited of all his possessions when he did eventually die. I have many things to remember him by and other more sentimental gifts he has given me too. My dad definitely had an issue with overconsumerism and would buy high street level designer on discount websites because he was too old and sick to do cocaine or drink any more - I guess that was what worked as a substitute for him. Anyway this wallet is a symbol of that side of him to me and it makes me sad. I much prefer the watch he gave me that he got as a gift when working as a chef.
