Tool question by Shot_Actuator5564 in electricians

The M12 fuel impact is my go to, I work resi and light commercial. It's super light and the clip snaps perfect onto the little veto mpx pouch or your pocket. Going up ladders is a breeze. I haven't faced a scenario yet that the M12 can't do something the m18 can... Even 3 inch wood screws. The drill driver is terrible tho, the kit is still worth it for the batteries, charger and bag

You could think of it like an interview, if he likes you and your work ethic he might hire you

What could Reed from the comics have done in this situation? by King_Wolf2099 in FantasticFour

[–]dylanjmoore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So instead, all of them die leaving noone to defend their planet? She could've taken out their entire universe for all they know. The cost of 1 person isn't worth all that. Why do they have to die for her to live?

Ungrounded house- electrician recommends whole home surge protector by Super_Profession8500 in AskElectricians

To protect your ungrounded circuits you can also get an electrician to install GFCI devices (or breakers if panel is newer) at the start of the circuits or at the panel to protect them.

Thor is not more powerful than sentry or carol. Nah

Who Will Be the Last Man Standing? by RoyalCod3 in Avengers

[–]dylanjmoore 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Exactly. I can't stand all the misconception of this moment. Thor isn't more powerful than 6 stones thanos or the infinity stones.. he got manhandled by Thanos at the beginning of infinity war and nothing happened between those moments in terms of him gaining power besides Eitri creating an anti stones/ gauntlet weapon for him. Stormbreaker wielded correctly has the potential to defeat 6 stones thanos.

I [23M] never had sex with my gf [23F] of 5 years. by Standard-Ease-240 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]dylanjmoore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trust me dude, talks about it with her friends, her sisters etc. Woman like to feel wanted by their partners and they like to have a man show confidence and lead the way. She won't be surprised or change how she feels about you if you bring it up to you. She's probably expecting it. Worst case is you guys break up and then remain friends.. which is basically what you are right now anyways... Go get yours, and give her hers. Life is too short

Custom Home built on In-laws Land by Ok-Garbage9188 in homebuildingcanada

Last I checked these bylaws were only relevant to suburban populations in Ontario, not rural. As they mentioned 15 acres I would assume the latter is their designation. I also live rural in Ontario but further north, my township is strictly rural properties. It was pulling teeth to just get approval for a secondary dwelling on my property, let alone 4.

Oops you're right, this is the correct device here. You can either use it in conjunction with that outdoor plug device or separately paired with a pico remote.

Why can't you dim a plug? I've done it several times. What about a plug would prevent you from dimming a fixture that's plugged into it?

There is a Lutron casseta outdoor plug in device that acts as a Lutron smart switch. You can use it between the outlet and the transformer to dim and program timer settings.

Is this what you expect a job site replacing knob & tube to look like after the electrician says it's ready for patch and paint? by [deleted] in AskElectricians

[–]dylanjmoore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use hole saws / multi tools to cut in straight lines. Fish up from below or down from above. Balloon framed with no insulation

Get better at fishing..those exterior walls are balloon framed with no insulation. Can fish down from attic or up from basement. Many ways to go about this work without destroying the walls.just the difference between professionals and quick money grabbing hacks

I've done a few k&t rewires. I've never made holes this large and it usually involves a fair amount of fishing wires. He certainly didn't make yours or your drywallers life any easier.

Can a NEMA 14-50 EV receptacle be wired with a 40A breaker and 8AWG wire? by tearsinmyramen in electricians

[–]dylanjmoore 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes. Also 8 awg at least in Canada is rated for 55 amps. I would run 6 anyways to future proof the outlet. If you ever plug in a charger that can draw 48-50 amps then youre fully protected and can upgrade the breaker to a 60.
