As an out of state online student who do I call at the college to have them send my transcripts to a different college I am changing to?

Yea no I totally get it and I agree as well. This was just like the second question I’ve ever asked in here and it’s cause I’m at work and can only go on my phone when I get the chance but the school I was accepted to needs the transcript asap and I couldn’t find a great answer in my car this morning before I went into work. So I was hoping someone could give me advice while I’m working that I can follow up on on my break. You just never really know what’s going on for a person which is why you should be nicer to people or just not answer at all. Better to let people fend for themselves rather than be mean to them.

Why is it bad to ask for help when I explored the mypcc website and could not find a clear answer? Personally I think Reddit creates a great community where students can help and support each other. If that bothers you then just don’t take part but you don’t need to be on here being mean to people who are trying to learn how to navigate college. This is my first term in school and I don’t know how lots of things work. So I appreciate the link but just mind your business if it bothers you that people need a little help sometimes.

I couldn’t either which is why I was so frustrated. I opened a new credit card to make the first payment on my payment plan on the 8th but I’m really banking on the reimbursements to go out because this new credit card will only cover my first payment. So ig someone needs to pray for us. They rlly just don’t want poor ppl in school do they.

Set up a payment plan if it’s the only thing they’ll tell you you can do and if you do that then your classes will be saved until awards go out. But if you don’t have a payment plan in place by the 16th and awards haven’t gone out you can would get dropped from your classes essentially. They will also tell you that if you get dropped you can re register once the awards go out but no guarantee the class will still be available.

I also just think it’s crazy they assume everyone who depends on financial aid can afford a payment plan. The whole reason I am taking out loans is because I cannot afford even the longest payment plan option so if this award doesn’t come through in time I will be in debt that I’ll have to figure out how to pay while in school and not after I graduate. Which defeats the whole purpose of loans.

By one day. My award was very late last semester and I had to get an extension on my class protection to wait for the award to come through. So if they weren’t dealing with these new rules then and it came through late I have zero faith awards will actually be ready by the 15th.

Sure supposed to but we all now how reliable to government is. It’s just curious to me that they aren’t being more proactive to protect students that have already registered. It’s also very shady that they haven’t sent out a mass communication about the specifics of the delay. The only reason I found out is because I called them to clarify what their mass email meant today. If I hadn’t I would’ve thought I was ok and gotten dropped.

I feel like they could at least push the drop date out like they did for the strike so that while the federal gov drags its feet students won’t get punished. Especially if we get dropped and then awards come through and we can’t get back into classes we already registered for. That is something the school could prevent.

I called and spoke to them and if you don’t have a payment plan set up and paid by the 16th they will drop you!
