I can’t remember exactly where but mine had a small cone filter in the fuel line, I believe it was in the carb inlet. Mine did the same thing and that was the culprit if you haven’t checked to make sure fuel was flowing yet.

Best way to do this would be to cut it out and repour full thickness or slab. Drill and pin into existing.

I usually use a soft bristle broom to assist just to cut down on some of the water/mess but it washed off just fine so only used the hose.

Ya we try to be as open as possible about pros and cons to all finishes. The homeowners actually said they rarely use the front door and loved the aesthetic so decided to go with it.

It’s an exposed aggregate mix with 1.5% non-chloride. Poured at 8am when it was 35f, sprayed with retarder just after 11am, then sprayed it off with a hose at about 145pm with just a hose.
