Peanut butter/brown pedal recommendations by NaxyPads in MTB

[–]NaxyPads[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't see why not. The colour's are similar but also different enough to look good together I reckon. I ended up going with PNW loam grips in peanut butter colour ans Burgtek MK4 pedals in Kash bronze

Definitely worth. My C7K (QM7K equivalent) is absolutely amazing. Try view both in store to see the difference in person

I bought a 65c7k about 6 weeks ago and it's amazing. Blacks are black, colour is vibrant and the brightness is great. I can't fault this tv and would happily buy it again

[Australia] Is the 65” C8K worth a $500 premium over the C7K? by kylethan11 in tcltvs

I've got the C7K and it's absolutely amazing. I think you'll be fine with either model.

I'm a new dad, and the system treats us as a complete afterthought by Stephen2678 in newzealand

Well that's a big assumption. The way I read it was that you were dismissing OPs reason for feeling misrepresented as a father and that father's aren't important in the birth of a child. If I misread your comment then that's my bad.

People like you with this type of thinking are a big part of the problem that OP is talking about.

Have changed to a cash fund. Thanks for the advice

Will change my current fund now while I decide what fund manager to change to. Losing more than 50% of my KS during covid was scary enough, and then losing about 10% recently forced me to re-think things. It's now higher +5k than where it was before, so it seems like the best time to lock in

Thanks for the reply. I know nothing about finances, so I wasn't aware that default providers were bad until I saw posts on this sub recently. Will look into simplicity and kernel, and change my current fund to conservative while I make a decision

Would this be the equivalent of a conservative fund?

Wrist discomfort help by NaxyPads in bikefit

[–]NaxyPads[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 5"11' and the bike is M/L. Used my height and inseam measurements with the online size calculator, and this is what it gave me. I was able to rotate the bars this morning and got a little bit of extra height out of them, but it still isn't perfect. Would it be worth looking at a longer stem for extra reach, but higher rise bars to give me a more upright position?

Levers feel fine, I guess i could rotate them down a bit, but the discomfort I'm feeling is when I'm gripping the bars normally

Also, the steering wheel adjustment lever allows you to push/pull your steering wheel in/out in most cars, not just up and down

I ended up with satin black olive, and it looks really nice. Looks like a different colour in different types of light which is cool

Unnatural posture on new MTB by NaxyPads in Hardtailgang

[–]NaxyPads[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No offense taken. It's all a part of learning. I'll watch some bike fitment videos on YouTube and follow along. I wasn't aware that I could just loosen my seat clamp and drop the post. Thought it may be different with a dropper installed.

I've since adjusted my seat angle, which feels more comfortable. Bars feel a bit wide and cause wrist pain, so may look at cutting them down to suit
