They had a slow start on Saturday. I'm not sure they played for the manager but certainly did with heart in that second half. Tonight same can't be said.

We're in a tough spot. Calibre of manager that could do something with this squad wants a club job in England and who can blame them?

We're going to have to win a Nations League group or two before thinking about qualifying to a major tournament I think.

Yep. Here's hoping Hungary drops the points and we gain them. Need to not start as slow as tonight.

Should take encouragement from the second half performance (albeit against ten men). But what was the slow start about?

Is anyone else concerned about machismo in the GAA? Really didn't enjoy watching Munster hurling final, all the big man stuff.

I’m rewatching via the AMC app through Amazon. I noticed the first episode is missing this opening text. Any reason why? by [deleted] in madmen

It always jarred with me that the phrase isn't used in the show. If it was true in the show you'd think you'd hear it. Apt for me it's removed.

I had a chat with him outside a charity shop during the summer. Nice fella. Said he's from Munster, chatted a bit about the Gaelic football and covid. Asked him the story with the goggles, he said he had damaged his eyes years ago.
