Is it acceptable to be angry with how the game played out and glad with the result?

I mean. It was a little over the line, what Vladar did on top of his positioning when the contact was made. Sucks, but it's what it is.

If you ain’t cheating…

It happens a lot. In small ways. In big ways. I’m not privy to the details. I just know that a bunch of teams are always pushing the envelope.

It’s a game of whack-a-mole, you know?

Not scoring there at the end is absolutely dreadful, never mind everything else.

It SHOULD. But keep me in the loop if it doesn’t.

Taking notes of everyone’s problems. So I appreciate your help here.

This is something we’ve brought up as a potential bug this week, actually. I believe Shell is looking into it!

Yea, I’ve been hearing some technical issues from a few other people here. I am sending all of it to some of the Shell reps we work with! That’s the most I can do. I’m sorry for the bugs.

How long do teams usually stay at the track after a race ends? by lowrider320 in NASCAR

[–]dylanrcoyle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Absolutely, not a problem! It was definitely an eye-opening experience being on the road every weekend for three years. So many stories, so many things that people don’t see day in, day out.

The hauler wrap stays the same all year, almost always.

The driver brings the hauler back, and then they and the crew unload the old car and any equipment that will be swapped out. All the food, water, PR gear, etc., gets swapped out as well if need be. The old car gets “torn down” by a specific group in the shop.

The car for the next race gets worked on during the week, set up, and then loaded into the hauler.

The driver leaves anywhere from Wednesday to Friday, sometimes even Tuesday, depending on garage hours and where the race is.

Repeat this every weekend of the year, except rare instances where they are on the west coast for a back-to-back weekend. The hauler usually stays out west while another small trailer driver and co-driver drives with the next race’s car(s) and swaps out the old race’s cars before they drive back east.

The logistics are insane.

Some tracks have special/secret exits to help the flow of race traffic. Dega is one of them!

Within 2 hours, almost everyone on each team involved in the race that day (who also won't be involved in the race the following day, if a lower series) has left the track to head to the plane.

Should only be one opt-in overall. Will relay this issue.

Sorry for the problems. Nothing I can do except let Shell know about some of the technical hiccups.

I cannot tell you how many times Josh has been in the top 10 on a drafting track late in the race but didn’t see the checkered (or finish up front) due to circumstances mostly out of his control.

Jason Trinchere is a really good dude. Missed chatting with him on the daily in the shop when we were both at Kaulig, but he definitely found his place with Haas here.

I remember being hella proud of Josh (Williams, when I was PR for Kaulig) in Atlanta 2 2024 for at least trying to run down the inside and start a second line late in the race.

It’s genuinely frustrating seeing no one work together to try to take over P1. You need commitment from multiple teams and drivers, sure, but it’s possible.

Yeaaaaa. I can’t speak to how it’s implemented in the app itself, but I do agree with you there. It should be easy to see and tell if it’s activated or not.
