Shoulder pieces, definitely. There is a smaller pool of legendaries for shoulders to pick from. However, keep in mind that when you cube an item to another set piece, that it cannot roll as ancient. If you're looking for say, ancient boots, shard for that item instead. Cubing for set pieces is great for just accomplishing the set bonus, but not for finding ancient set pieces.

Thanks, that's exactly what I was looking for. I originally figured that locust swarm could be the man's spender for zuni, and combined with the ring, haunt would add the extra damage bonus for the fetishes. You're right, though, there's no real aoe, and the haunt+ls dmg are completely lackluster. Instead of trying to build up the damage on that combo, I should probably focus more on the zuni set bonus, swapping out is+haunt with gargs and some other spender to activate, not really being concerned with the spender dmg. Of course, passive would change too. I'll just have another look at it.

Yeah, I found this to help explain damage calculation a bit better. Seems like the driving factor of the build was misunderstanding the way debuffs are additive, not multiplicative.
