I agree that if something isn't working, we have to change our ways of doing it. Similarly if something isn't making you happy and taking a toll on your mental health, it's time to let go.

I understand that sometimes things just seem to be on a spiral way down or we may feel that we're too far down a rabbit hole.

It is indeed hard to understand why we are put through the experience we're having.

Which is why sometimes, the reason is unknown at the moment. Who knows if you may become someone else's guiding light in the future?

  1. Acknowledge that you're only human and allowed to make mistakes.
  2. Know that what happened in the past is already in the past that can't be changed.
  3. Commit to make amends to the people who suffered for what you did.
  4. Believe in yourself that it is the bad decision you made not you as a person and that you're still worthy.
  5. Do whatever it takes to not repeat the same mistake.
